2 Months of Being a Daddy

Today is Father’s Day and today Bailey is 2 months old. Not only has it been such a joy having such a perfect little girl…but watching my amazing husband as a daddy just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. He is so tender with her and always worried about her comfort and well being. He has been peed on, pooped on, spit up on, and snotted on. His big strong arms hold her so gently when he changes her clothes or gives her a bath. Even though she is going through a mommy phase right now where she doesn’t really like to be held by anyone else….she still gives him lots of smiles in the mornings and when he gets home from work to let him know she loves him and knows who he is 🙂 The primary kids in his class call him papa bear….and it totally fits 🙂

In other news lately, my dad’s hot dog company Eiffel Dogs have been a hit! I don’t know if I have mentioned it yet or not but it is a whole new renovation of the hot dog. It has been a fun journey so far, and I designed the logo, so that makes me feel really good to contribute my degree skills 🙂 For more in depth info about it go to http://www.eiffeldogs.com or search eiffel dogs on Facebook to see more pics and stuff. It is really cool. He was one of the vendors for Uintah Days this last weekend and it was so fun! Adam and I went and enjoyed seeing the different booths and I even did a pie eating contest in the 15 year old and up group…and I was the only girl and def didn’t win lol.

Bailey had an eye infection so Adam and I took her to the clinic and they gave us some eye drops to give her 4 times a day for 10 days. My dad coached Danny’s baseball team this year and they are heading to the playoffs next week.

Adam has only 2 weeks left of work, and we have 6 weeks until we leave for Texas, so some exciting times are happening soon for sure 🙂 I am ready to start our next journey as a little family 🙂
