So this past week has been pretty intense! The most amazing news would be that Ally and John had their first baby boy! Brayden!!!! He was 7 pounds 10 ounces and was just the cutest thing I had ever seen! He ended up coming early on Thursday Feb 16, instead of the scheduled date for Monday. Ally was a trooper! She did so well and is now recovering slowly but surely. We picked up Adam’s mom Stacey at the airport literally an hour before Brayden was born. We stayed outside until we heard that sweet little cry and we saw him getting checked and cleaned up. It was such a sweet experience. John was a proud daddy for sure! It def made me get baby fever haha but we will still be waiting a while…right now I can just love on Brayden with all I have!
Then Friday Adam and I headed down to Utah to visit my family for the holiday weekend since there was no classes on Monday. We had a blast! It was nice to just go home and spend time with family and catch up and stuff. We got to see my little brother Aj own in his basketball league, that kid will be big stuff one day, you wait! Danny had back surgery for a birthmark that was a little dangerous and he had a wicked wound full of stitches. He was healing well and def willing to hang with the big kids! Celine and I were able to talk about our health journeys and different workouts that are super intense! She is a sprinter on her high school track team and is great at it! It was just so nice to come home and be able to relax, be in the hot tub, spend quality time, and be able to take a break from my crazy school routine! I also needed a bigger change, so I got my hair cut. 6 inches off! It was huge for me since the last time I cut my hair that much, I was probably in middle school! Haha. It was a change, but I loved it! And thankfully Adam does too 😉
Life is just going good and busy now. We are back in Rexburg and enjoy seeing little Brayden and Stacey while she is here helping Ally and John. Midterms are this week and snow is coming and going, icing up the roads. Just another week haha.
These are our Bits O’ Bertoch.
